Onyx Premier Homes Ltd. (“OPH’), Amar Gill (“Gill”) and Jasdeep Uppal (“Uppal”), contrary to section 14(1) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), conducted the business of a residential builder without a valid BC Housing (“BCH”) Residential Builder Licence between July and September 2025, with respect to the sale of two new homes in Vancouver, BC (the “New Homes”). On December 10, 2025, BCH issued Compliance Order 25-0027 to OPH, Gill and Uppal directing that OPH, Gill and Uppal:
- immediately provide BCH with the required documentation necessary to complete a Residential Builder Licence Application to successfully become a Licensed Residential Builder pursuant to section 14(1) of the Act.
OPH, Gill and Uppal were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 25-0027 by January 16, 2026.
