KELOWNA - Nearly 40 new affordable homes are now available for low- to middle-income seniors, couples and individuals in Kelowna, as a new rental apartment building opens.

KELOWNA - Eighty new affordable homes are now available for middle-income families and individuals with the opening of a new rental apartment building in Kelowna.

LADYSMITH - Families, seniors and people with disabilities in Ladysmith will soon have more affordable housing options, with construction underway on a 36-unit rental housing project in the community.

KWAKIUTL FIRST NATION - Six new on-reserve affordable rental homes are now open for Indigenous Elders and families near Fort Rupert, thanks to a partnership between the Province, through BC Housing, and the Kwakiutl First Nation.

DAWSON CREEK - New safe and secure homes with around-the-clock supports are available for people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in Dawson Creek, following the opening of a new supportive housing building in the community.

CHILLIWACK - The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Travelodge Hotel in Chilliwack to provide over 80 new supportive homes for people in the community experiencing homelessness.

MISSION - Seniors with moderate and low incomes in Mission are benefiting from 74 additional affordable homes and a seniors' activity centre now that the doors are open on a new project in the community.

PORT ALBERNI - More people in Port Alberni will be able to remain in their homes at current rents, with the Province facilitating the purchase of the 41-unit King George Apartments.

LAX KW'ALAAMS - The Province, through BC Housing, has partnered with the Lax Kw'alaams Band to open 10 new affordable rental homes for Lax Kw'alaams families in the community.

VICTORIA - Construction has finished on a new 135-unit condominium project, boosting the supply of affordable homeownership options for middle-income families and individuals in Victoria.

VANCOUVER - An affordable rental housing pilot project is underway in Vancouver that will help BC Housing evaluate innovative building materials and designs aimed at tackling affordability, inclusion and climate change.

LANGLEY - The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Canada’s Best Value Inn in Langley to provide nearly 50 homes with supports for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

VICTORIA - The Province has purchased a property at 1176 Yates St. to provide more permanent supportive homes for people experiencing homelessness in Victoria.

SURREY - The Province, through BC Housing, is buying a hotel in Surrey to provide nearly 30 homes with supports for people experiencing homelessness.

VICTORIA – The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the Capital City Center Hotel, which will provide nearly 100 temporary supportive homes for people experiencing homelessness in Victoria.

VANCOUVER - The Province has purchased the Burns Block building in Vancouver to provide homes with wraparound supports for women experiencing homelessness.

VICTORIA – The Province is providing an additional $2 billion in development financing through B.C.’s HousingHub to finance the construction of thousands of new homes for middle income families.

HAIDA GWAII - People experiencing homelessness will have a safe and secure place to call home with 19 new supportive homes opening in the Village of Queen Charlotte (Daajing Giids).

VICTORIA - The Province, in partnership with the City of Victoria, is moving forward with four new supportive housing projects that will deliver up to 192 permanent homes with 24/7 support for people experiencing homelessness.
