WEST KELOWNA - The Province, through BC Housing, has partnered with the City of West Kelowna and Turning Points Collaborative Society to lease the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank's West Kelowna facility for use as a temporary bridge shelter for people experiencing homelessness.

Victoria, BC- The Capital Regional District (CRD), in partnership with the Province of BC and the Capital Region Housing Corporation (CRHC), has started construction of 58 new affordable homes at 2782 Spencer Road in Langford.

WEST KELOWNA - The Province, through BC Housing, is partnering with Turning Points Collaborative Society, in collaboration with the City of West Kelowna, to open a new temporary shelter for people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in West Kelowna.

FORT ST. JOHN -The Province is partnering with the Salvation Army on a proposal to build 42 new supportive homes that would be available to people in the community who do not have a place to live.

BURNABY - Twenty-five new affordable homes are on the way for families, seniors and people with disabilities in Burnaby, with construction underway on a new housing project in the community.

PRINCE GEORGE - The Province, through BC Housing, and the Aboriginal Housing Society ofPrince George (AHSPG) are partnering to build 35 new supportive homes for seniors and Indigenous Elders experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in Prince George.

HOPE - New affordable rental homes are now open for Indigenous peoples in Hope, thanks to a partnership between the Province, the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) and Mamele'awt Qweesome Housing Society (MQHS).

WESTBANK FIRST NATION - Two new affordable rental housing buildings with a combined 17 homes are open for Westbank First Nation (WFN) Members, Elders and families in the WFN community, thanks to a partnership between WFN and the Province.

VANCOUVER - The Province, in partnership with the City of Vancouver, Lu'ma Native Housing Society and the federal government, is proposing to create approximately 50 new supportive homes for people experiencing homelessness in Vancouver.

PORT COQUITLAM - The Province is partnering with New View Society on a proposal to provide 50 new homes for people in Port Coquitlam who require mental health support to stay housed.

NANAIMO - The Snuneymuxw First Nation (SFN) and the Province, through BC Housing, are partnering to build and operate new culturally appropriate housing forSnuneymuxw peoples, particularlywomen and children, Elders and people experiencing homelessness in the community.

VICTORIA - Nearly60 new affordable rental homes will soon be available for families and seniors in Victoria as construction begins on a new housing development in the community.

VANCOUVER - Individuals and families in Vancouver are moving into 51 new rental homes they can afford, as the Mi Casa redevelopment opens.

PORT ALBERNI - Construction is underway on an affordable rental housing building with 48 homes for seniors and Indigenous Elders in Port Alberni.

BURNABY - The Province, through BC Housing, is exploring opportunities to replace the aging units at the Stratford Gardens housing development in Burnaby with more new modern, affordable homes.

SOOKE - Construction is underway on a new affordable rental housing project that will provide 170 homes for a wide range of people with varying incomes in Sooke.

The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Fortune Motel in Kamloops.

VICTORIA - Nine affordable homes will soon be available to middle-income homebuyers, as construction has started on a new condominium project in Victoria.

VICTORIA, BC — The City of Victoria is collaborating with the Province, through BC Housing and the Capital Region Housing Corporation (CRHC) to build 220 new non-market rental homes and create a new neighbourhood community centre with a gym and child care spaces on City-owned land at 930/926 Pandora Avenue.

VICTORIA –Low to moderate income families and individuals will benefit from 51 new affordable homes planned at 1909 Prosser Road in the District of Central Saanich as part of theRegional Housing First Program(RHFP). Properties funded by the RHFP provide a mix of rental options, including units for people who are ready to live independently. Flexible, mobile services may be delivered based on the individual needs of people in those units.

VICTORIA - BC Housing has secured the temporary use of Mount Tolmie Hospital in Saanich to ensure everyone maintains their accommodation, as the lease on Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre temporary shelter could not be extended.

COLWOOD - Indigenous individuals and families are moving into 124 rental homes they can afford, as doors have opened on a new development in Colwood.

VICTORIA - More than 2,400 new affordable rental homes are coming for people with moderate and low incomes in 41communities throughout the province.

SALMON ARM - Thirty-five new affordable rental homes are now available for families, seniors and individuals with low to moderate incomes in Salmon Arm, with the second phase of a new housing development opening in the community.

VICTORIA - The Province, through BC Housing, has partnered with the SAFERhome Standards Society to create a new certification program that will improve liveability and accessibility in existing and future public-housing buildings.

ABBOTSFORD - The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the former Red Lion Inn and Suites in Abbotsford to provide 30 temporary shelter spaces for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

MAPLE RIDGE - The Province plans to purchase a 66-unit rental home development in Maple Ridge to secure affordable housing options for people with moderate and low incomes.

NELSON - Families, seniors and people with disabilities with low to moderate incomes in Nelson are moving into 43 affordable rental homes, with the first affordable housing project opening in the community in almost 15 years.

PENTICTON - The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased three motels in Penticton as part of a proposed redevelopment plan to preserve and revitalize 105affordable homes for people with low incomes in the community.
