TERRACE - Women and their children leaving gender-based violence in Terrace now have access to 22 second-stage homes with the opening of Ella's Place.

FORT ST. JAMES - Seniors in Fort St. James and Telkwa are moving into two new buildings with a combined 48 rental homes that are affordable, accessible and centrally located.

VANCOUVER - Women and their children leaving violence in Vancouver will have 10 new homes in the coming weeks to help with their journey of healing and stability.

KELOWNA - People experiencing homelessness in Kelowna will soon have access to as many as 60 more temporary homes with supports.

COURTENAY - Women, gender-diverse people and their dependent children now have access to 48 affordable rental homes with the opening of a new building in Courtenay.

MISSION - People experiencing homelessness in the Fraser Valley, including people living with complex mental-health and addiction challenges and people living in temporary housing facilities, will get help as two supportive housing sites open to residents in Mission and Maple Ridge.

VICTORIA - New shelter beds will help move more people in Victoria, including people living on Pandora Avenue, off the street and indoors with as many as 72 new shelter beds.

KAMLOOPS - More than 50 people experiencing homelessness in Kamloops could be moving into supportive housing with the proposed purchase of land on the city's North Shore.

NELSON - Nearly 100 new rental homes are coming for middle-income individuals, couples and families in Nelson and Fernie through BC Builds housing projects.

Families and seniors in Vancouver will soon have access to 146 new affordable rental homes as construction begins on Sunrise Village on the corner of Venables and Renfrew streets.

BURNABY - Families and seniors in Burnaby will soon benefit from 161 new affordable homes and 74 child care spaces as construction starts on a new development in the community.

PRINCE GEORGE - People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Prince George will soon have more safe and secure housing options as approximately 100 supportive homes and complex-care housing (CCH) units are on the way.

SMITHERS - Construction will soon begin on 37 new homes for Indigenous individuals, families and seniors in Smithers.

SAANICH - Seniors in Saanich are moving into 100 new affordable rental homes with the completion of the Linwood Court redevelopment.

VANCOUVER - A combined 211 supportive homes and shelter spaces are underway or will be preserved for people experiencing homelessness in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside as part of the Province’s contributions to the landmark Harbour Light redevelopment.

WHISTLER - Families and people with middle incomes living and working in Whistler will soon have access to more than 100 new rental homes as the first BC Builds project breaks ground.

SKIDEGATE - Skidegate Band members now have access to 24 affordable homes with the opening of a new on-reserve rental complex.

VANCOUVER - Young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Vancouver now have access to safe and secure homes with supports as the final phase of Covenant House Vancouver's expansion is complete.

NANAIMO - People experiencing or at risk of homelessness will soon have access to 78 supportive homes with services to help residents facing challenges.

SURREY - Indigenous individuals, families and Elders are getting the keys to another 104 affordable homes in Surrey with the opening of Phase 2 of the Sohkeyah development.

TERRACE - Seniors and young people in Terrace will benefit from a new mixed-use development under construction that will include 43 affordable rental homes and a Foundry centre.

VANCOUVER - Plans for a community building are moving ahead in the Downtown Eastside (DTES), and will now include additional supportive and affordable homes, connected to health and social services.

NANAIMO - People experiencing homelessness in Nanaimo will soon benefit from new temporary spaces with around-the clock enhanced supports as land has been identified for a new integrated navigation centre.

VICTORIA - Fifty-six people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Victoria are moving into new homes with support services.

COQUITLAM - Residents in Coquitlam have begun moving into 132 new affordable homes as construction is finished on part of the redevelopment of Hoy Creek Housing Cooperative.

People living in Kamloops will have more housing options that meet their needs, as multiple housing and shelter projects are planned throughout the city.

PRINCE GEORGE - Mothers from across northern B.C. who are seeking a safe place to stay for themselves and their children will soon have access to 34 new transitional housing units in Prince George, along with parenting and cultural supports.

NORTH VANCOUVER - Families and individuals have begun moving into 90 new affordable rental homes in North Vancouver as construction is complete on the Salal Apartments.
