DELTA– Independent seniors and individuals living with intellectual disabilities will benefit from 130 below-market rental homes as part of a new development under construction in the community.

KEREMEOS - Forty-three new affordable rental homes are now open in Keremeos for families, seniors and people living with disabilities.

VERNON - Families and seniors have access to an additional 29 affordable rental homes for households with low to moderate incomeswith the opening of Albert Place 2.

GRAND FORKS - The Province, through BC Housing, and the City of Grand Forks have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) formalizing their commitment to work together to develop new housing for people in the community.

PRINCE GEORGE - Indigenous Elders and seniors experiencing or at risk of homelessness will soon begin moving into 35 new homes with supports as part of a new multi-phase rental housing development in Prince George.

KELOWNA - People experiencing homelessness in Kelowna now have access to 60 new year- round shelter beds.

OLIVER - More than 40 new affordable rental homes are open in Oliver for families, seniors, Indigenous people and individual living with disabilities.

KAMLOOPS - People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Kamloops now have access to additional housing and supports, with the opening of 28 new supportive homes at the former Fortune Motel.

BURNABY - Fifteen new affordable rental homes and 37 child care spaces are available for families and people in Burnaby with the opening of a new mixed-use housing development.

PRINCETON - The Province, together with BC Housing, the Town of Princeton, and the Princeton and District Community Services Society, has started work on 20 new temporary homes for seniors who lost their homes to flooding in 2021.

RICHMOND - People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Richmond are moving into new safe and secure homes with the opening of a 40-unit temporary supportive housing building.

BURNABY – The BC Housing Board of Commissioners has launched a process to select a new CEO for the Crown corporation.
